Away from the courts, explore Malta’s spectacular coastline, relax beside the hotel’s rooftop pool, discover the cafés and restaurants around Spinola Bay or simply enjoy a drink beneath the Mediterranean sun.
As evening arrives, St Julian’s comes alive. Enjoy group dinners, waterfront bars, live music and Malta’s famous nightlife, with Paceville just a short walk from the hotel for anyone who wants to keep the evening going.
The Weekend
Whether you travel with friends, as a couple or on your own, you’ll be welcomed into the Roma Pickleball community from the moment the trip begins.
You’ll stay at the stylish four-star hotel in the heart of St Julian’s, just a few minutes’ walk from beautiful Spinola Bay, waterfront restaurants, lively bars and the famous Paceville entertainment district.
During your Malta Escape, you’ll take part in the Official Roma Pickleball Friendly Tournament, with approximately five hours of organised pickleball across four indoor courts alongside Malta Pickleball, private group transfers, an included Farewell Dinner and the option to personalise your trip with optional experiences including return flights, a Friday Pickleball Session, Welcome Dinner and spectacular Sunset Harbour Cruise.

Your Malta adventure begins as you arrive on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Malta.
Guests booking the optional Premier Getaway Club flights from Rome will travel together, while those arranging their own travel can meet the group in Malta or join the scheduled group airport transfer.
On arrival, your private group transfer will take you directly to the stylish four-star hotel in the heart of St Julian’s.
After checking in, enjoy some free time to settle into your room, relax beside the rooftop pool or head out and begin exploring.
Your hotel is ideally located within walking distance of Spinola Bay, Portomaso Marina, St George’s Bay and Paceville, putting you right at the centre of everything St Julian’s has to offer.
In the evening, you can choose to join Marco and your fellow travellers for our optional Welcome Dinner.
It is the perfect opportunity to meet the group, enjoy authentic local food and raise a glass to the weekend ahead.
And dinner does not have to mean the end of the evening. Those who want to continue the fun can head into Paceville, Malta’s famous nightlife district, just a short walk from the hotel.
After breakfast, the morning and early afternoon are completely yours.
Relax beside the hotel’s rooftop pool, wander around Spinola Bay, explore the waterfront cafés or find the perfect place for a relaxed lunch with your fellow travellers.
Guests looking for some extra time on court can choose to join our optional Friday Pickleball Session.
With private return transfers included, this informal three-hour session offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy social games, warm-ups, friendly matches and valuable practice before tournament day while getting to know more of the Roma Pickleball community.
Guests choosing not to take part are free to continue exploring everything St Julian’s has to offer before meeting up with the group again later.
The evening is yours to enjoy Malta your way—whether that means a relaxed waterfront dinner, drinks overlooking the marina or another lively evening experiencing the atmosphere of Paceville.
After breakfast, it is time for one of the highlights of the weekend—the Official Roma Pickleball Friendly Tournament.
Your private return transfer will take you to the event venue, where you’ll enjoy approximately five hours of organised pickleball across four indoor courts with your Roma Pickleball friends and local Maltese players.
Tournament Highlights
After the tournament, return to your hotel and enjoy some free time to relax, have lunch and prepare for your final evening together.
Guests can then choose to join our optional Sunset Harbour Cruise, taking in spectacular views of Malta’s historic fortifications, magnificent harbours and waterfront towns as the Mediterranean sun begins to set.
Later that evening, everyone will come together for the included Farewell Dinner, celebrating a fantastic weekend of pickleball, friendship and unforgettable memories.
And for anyone who still has energy left, there is always the option of enjoying one final night in St Julian’s.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and leave your luggage securely with the hotel.
You’ll then have almost a full final day to enjoy Malta at your own pace before the scheduled group airport transfer.

Yes. Solo travellers are welcome and will join the Roma Pickleball community throughout the weekend. Single rooms are available on request, subject to availability and a supplement.
The experience is designed for recreational and intermediate players. You do not need to be an expert; the focus is friendly competition, social play and enjoying the group experience.
