1About this policy

This Cookie Policy applies when you visit premiergetawayclub.com and should be read with our Privacy Policy.

We use cookies in accordance with applicable UK law, including the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (“PECR”), the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

A cookie is a small text file placed on your browser or device by a website. Cookies can recognise a device, remember choices, maintain security, measure website use or support advertising. Similar technologies—including pixels, tags, scripts, local storage and software development kits—may perform comparable functions. In this policy, “cookies” includes those similar technologies where appropriate.

2First-party, third-party, session and persistent cookies
  • First-party cookies are set by Premier Getaway Club’s website.
  • Third-party cookies are set by an external service used on or connected to the Site.
  • Session cookies normally expire when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies remain for a stated period or until you delete them.

The duration shown in our cookie declaration is the maximum expected lifetime. Some providers may refresh a cookie when you revisit the Site, subject to your consent.

Cookie names and durations can change when providers update their services. Our consent-management platform should scan the Site periodically so this declaration remains aligned with the technologies actually enabled.

Important: if Facebook/Meta Pixel, Instagram embeds, YouTube, Vimeo, Google Maps, reCAPTCHA, Hotjar or another service is enabled, its cookies and purposes must be added to this declaration and blocked before consent unless strictly necessary.
5Your consent and choices

When you first visit the Site, our cookie banner allows you to accept all non-essential cookies, reject them or choose categories. Consent must be freely given, specific, informed and indicated by a clear positive action. Continuing to browse is not treated as consent.

Rejecting non-essential cookies must be as easy as accepting them. We do not use pre-ticked options, and we do not make access to ordinary Site content conditional on accepting unnecessary tracking.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie Settings or Manage Cookies control displayed on the Site. Withdrawal applies from that point onwards and does not make earlier consent-based processing unlawful.

If you withdraw consent, the consent tool should stop future use of the relevant technologies. You may also need to delete cookies already stored through your browser settings.

10Web setup: ensure a permanent “Manage Cookies” link or floating privacy button remains available on every page and opens the consent-preference panel.
6Browser controls

Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may affect functions that depend on strictly necessary technology. Browser controls operate separately from our consent tool, so your browser provider’s help pages explain the exact steps.

Browser settings do not replace our responsibility to obtain consent before setting non-essential cookies.

7Third-party services and embedded content

Subject to your choices, the Site may use or display services supplied by third parties, such as:

  • Google Analytics or other measurement services;
  • Facebook, Instagram or other social-media content;
  • YouTube or Vimeo videos;
  • Google Maps or other location services;
  • advertising, conversion-measurement or remarketing tools; and
  • security, spam-prevention, forms or payment technology.

An embedded service may allow its provider to receive information such as your IP address, device details and interaction with the content. Optional embeds and trackers should remain blocked until the applicable consent is given.

Third parties may act as independent controllers for their own use of information. Their privacy and cookie notices explain their practices. International transfers associated with these services are addressed in our Privacy Policy using an applicable UK transfer mechanism where required.

8How long cookie information is kept

Each cookie remains for the session or duration stated in the cookie declaration, unless you delete it earlier. We retain consent records for as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate and honour your choice.

Information produced by analytics, security or marketing tools is retained only for a proportionate period configured in the relevant service and in line with our Privacy Policy. We periodically review retention settings and delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.

9Your data-protection rights

Where cookie information identifies or can reasonably be linked to you, it may be personal data. Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, request portability and withdraw consent.

You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. Full information about your rights and how to exercise them is set out in our Privacy Policy.

10Security

We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards for personal information generated through the Site, including access controls, secure transmission and carefully selected service providers where appropriate.

No internet service is completely secure. If a personal-data breach occurs, we will assess it and notify the ICO and affected individuals where legally required.

11Children

Our Site and travel services are intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly use cookie-derived information to profile or market directly to children. If you believe a child’s information has been collected inappropriately, please contact us.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our website, providers, technologies or legal obligations change. The current version will be published here with a revised date. Where a material change affects consent, we will refresh the consent request where required.

We also review the live cookie inventory periodically and after material website or plugin changes.
