Day 2 · Tarangire — Elephants & Baobabs

Travel to Tarangire National Park for your first game drive among towering baobabs, elephant herds and the wildlife of the Tarangire River before settling into your safari camp or lodge.

Day 3 · Tarangire — Sunrise & Walking Safari

Begin with a sunrise game drive, then join a guided walking safari where permitted. After a relaxed midday break, return to the bush for an extended afternoon drive and sundowners.

Day 4 · Lake Manyara — Rift Valley & Wildlife

Explore Lake Manyara's groundwater forests, acacia woodlands and lakeshore habitats, looking for monkeys, elephants, hippos and abundant birdlife, with flamingos when conditions allow.

Day 5 · Lake Eyasi — Hadzabe & Datoga

Travel to Lake Eyasi for an ethical, guided cultural visit with Hadzabe hunter-gatherers, followed by time with Datoga blacksmiths to learn about traditional metalworking and daily life.

Day 6 · Ngorongoro Crater — The Caldera of Life

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing across open plains, wetlands and forest. Lions, hyenas, elephants, buffalo and hippos are among the possible sightings; black rhino may also be seen.

Cross from the Ngorongoro highlands into the Serengeti, game driving en route to your tented camp and finishing the day with a classic safari evening beneath vast African skies.

Head out at dawn in search of predators and follow the day's best wildlife reports with your guide. An optional hot-air-balloon safari may be available at sunrise.

Spend a flexible full day in the Serengeti, with routing shaped around current wildlife movements. Enjoy a picnic in the bush before a final fireside evening at camp.

Day 10 · Serengeti to Arusha — Hike or Coffee Experience

Take the included scheduled flight back to Arusha, then choose between the planned Kilimanjaro day hike to Mandara Hut, subject to regulations and fitness considerations, or a coffee-estate experience.
